Petronas Towers
are also known as the twin towers located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The towers with 1,483 ft (452 m) high were designed by
Argentinian-American architect Cesar Pelli. The construction completed
in 1997. Because of its height, they surpassed some towers in the world
for about six years. One of them is Chicago's Willis Tower (then the
Sears Tower) as the record- holding tallest structure. In 2003, they
were finally surpassed by Taipei 101.
The twin towers
house Petronas, Malaysia's government owned Oil Company, merged
Malaysian association as well as worldwide company. Part of a enormous
burst of progression that marked the nation’s 1990 economic growth, the
buildings stand at the northern end of a projected high- tech business
area, the Malaysia Multimedia Supercorridor.
Composed of
steel-fortified genuine substance clad in stainsteel and glass, with a
architect design based on geometric patterns style in ancient Islam, the
88- story building are connected at levels 41 and 42 by a double-decker
individuals skybridge. The tall of each tower is surmounted by a
242-ft-high (74-m) top. At the bottom part, the Petronas towers are also
completed by a connection lobby and that is the home for Malaysian
Philharmonic and a business referrals chronicles.
Besides
the high tower to 1483 feet, Petronas Towers connect 88 stories and
also an additional structural variable (at 1242 feet). Its construction
contrary to the Sears Tower in Chicago which has 110 stories and the
twin World Trade Center towers in New York with 110 stories too. Apart
from the fact that those two other tall buildings would be filled with
bigger carpets, they are not considered as complicated tall guidelines
used for standing the tallest tower. Either the plan tower depends on
the building tallness or the acceptance of institution.
